• Dakota Dream Savings Fund
An IDA is a savings account to be used specifically for starting or expanding your own business, buying a home, or getting the education you want. We help you match your goal more quickly by matching your deposits, dollar for dollar, when you complete the program. |

• Volunteer Income Tax Assistance
NESDCAP prepares basic tax returns for taxpayers with low or limited incomes. |

• Housing Loan Partnership Program (HLPP)
Offers a lower blended interest rate to income eligible households for new construction or the purchase of an existing home. |

Programs We Assist With |

• Energy Assistance/Weatherization
NESDCAP weatherizes houses to make them more energy efficient in order to reduce utility costs. Conservation measures include insulation, door weather stripping, minor repairs, sealing or leakage, and furnace repairs and replacements. |

• The Governor's House
NESDCAP is the marketing representative for 'The Governor's House". This program provides low maintenance, energy-efficient homes to qualified individuals and families. |

• Homes Are Possible, Inc. (HAPI)
HAPI is a nonprofit organization that helps low and moderate income families in Northeast South Dakota purchase homes by offering down-payment forgivable loans up to $4,000.

• Apartment Management/Ownership
NESDCAP provides management services to individuals or organizations and owns apartments that have subsidized rent. The subsidizing of these units is made possible through the USDA Office of Rural Development. |

• Emergency Assistance
People, because of loss or change in employment, may have short term needs. There may be unexpected circumstances that create a need for assistance with food, shelter, clothing, utilities, etc.

• NESDCAP Housing Pre-qualification Worksheet
This is not an application. This worksheet contains the necessary forms to be completed for Housing Prequalification only. All loan applicants must complete this. Regardless of the pre-qualification findings, you always have the opportunity to file a complete application. |
